Medium Density Fibre board is a commonly used particle board. Its main advantage compared to other particle boards and timbers is its clean finish. With no grain or knots it's easy to apply paints and veneers to it's face side. With its dense fibre body, MDF remains strong and holds its form if fixed in a sensible way.
