The Birtley 3600mm Cavity Wall Lintel CB70 is a reliable steel lintel designed specifically for cavity wall constructions with a 70mm to 85mm cavity. Ideal for builders, bricklayers and site managers, this lintel provides strong, durable support for the outer leaf above openings such as doors and windows. Please note, this lintel is not suitable for point loads or concrete floor support.
Application
This lintel is intended to carry the weight of the outer leaf of cavity walls, typically used in standard house builds or structural extensions. It’s placed on a mortar bed over blockwork and supports brickwork above openings, ensuring structural integrity and preventing sagging. The product’s design includes factory-fitted insulation and no baseplate to minimise thermal bridging, helping maintain site build quality and compliance with building regulations.

Orders over £150 ex VAT within our local delivery area qualify for free delivery. This excludes palletised or specialist products.
For orders under £150 ex VAT, standard delivery is £10 plus VAT. Certain products have specific delivery costs:

- Roofing Tiles under £249.99 ex VAT: £60 + VAT.
