Class A Solid Red Engineering Brick is the number one choice for demanding applications. Uses include ground-works, manholes, sewers, retaining walls and damp proof courses. Class A Engineering bricks have a compressive strength greater than 125 N/mm2 and water absorption less than 4.5%. Engineering bricks are specially made to provide enhanced technical performance, they are used for their physical characteristics and not their appearance. Traditionally used in civil engineering and are most suitable for applications where strength and resistance to frost attack and water are important.

Delivery Charges
Orders over £150 ex VAT within our local delivery area qualify for free delivery. This excludes palletised or specialist products.
For orders under £150 ex VAT, standard delivery is £7.50 plus VAT. Certain products have specific delivery costs:
- Civil Engineering products: £20 + VAT.
- Roofing Tiles under £249.99 ex VAT: £60 + VAT.
