health & safety statement
At Lords, Health & Safety is a priority for all our colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Health & Safety training
By working closely with a Health & Safety consultancy, we keep up to date on all matters that relate to Health & Safety including fire risk assessments, fire warden, and first aid training, undertaking 6 monthly audits to make sure we are always one step ahead. We ensure everyone carries out their Health & Safety training modules and attend courses relating to their job role.
Take the Lead
Safety measures across the company have been compiled into a comprehensive programme called Take the Lead, which aims to create a safety culture based on shared responsibility. The programme includes safety rules, investments in security equipment, reporting on accidents and near misses, as well as training and external inspections.
The safety measures applied along with regular communications with our colleagues help build a safer working environment and a better level of service to our customers.
FORS Silver Accreditation
We are also holders of FORS Silver Accreditation which assures that we are meeting requirements such as vehicle safety equipment, fuel emissions and air quality, road risk, noise pollution, as well as professional development.
