The Richard Burbidge pine baserail is a trade-ready timber component designed for precise stair installations. Measuring 63mm wide by 28mm thick and 3600mm long, it’s crafted from FSC certified pine and supplied unfinished, allowing you to stain or varnish it to perfectly suit your project. Please note, spindles are sold separately.
Application
This baserail is ideal for carpenters, joiners and builders working on both post-to-post and over post staircases. It features a 32mm central groove designed to securely slot in 41mm spindles, providing a stable and neat foundation for stair railing systems. Commonly used in new build or refurbishment projects, it ensures a clean and professional finish.

Delivery Charges
Orders over £175 ex VAT within our local delivery area qualify for free delivery. This excludes palletised or specialist products.
For orders under £175 ex VAT, standard delivery is £10 plus VAT. Certain products have specific delivery costs:
- Civil Engineering products: £30 + VAT.
- Roofing Tiles under £249.99 ex VAT: £60 + VAT.
