The RIW 5L Liquid Asphalt Composition (LAC) is a trusted, cold-applied damp proof membrane designed for builders, bricklayers and site managers needing reliable waterproofing. Supplied in a 5-litre container, it offers an efficient solution for protecting foundations, floors and structural elements against moisture and radon gas. Please note the product is supplied as a liquid coating; bricks and other materials are sold separately.
Application
This liquid asphalt membrane is ideal for use on ground floors, basement tanking, foundation walls, ducts, lintels, columns and beams. It also performs well as a vapour barrier behind external cladding and internal plaster finishes, helping to prevent damp penetration and radon ingress. Its cold application means no heating equipment is needed, making it straightforward to apply on busy sites or tight schedules.

Delivery Charges
Orders over £175 ex VAT within our local delivery area qualify for free delivery. This excludes palletised or specialist products.
For orders under £175 ex VAT, standard delivery is £10 plus VAT. Certain products have specific delivery costs:
- Civil Engineering products: £30 + VAT.
- Roofing Tiles under £249.99 ex VAT: £60 + VAT.
Delivery charges and policies may vary at the discretion of our branches, and we reserve the right to amend them as required.
We offer a variety of delivery options to meet your needs nationwide, including pallet shipping (subject to size and weight restrictions), site delivery, and same-day or next-day delivery via TradeKart (available in selected postcodes).
