Assistant Branch Manager - Kenton

We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager 

 

We are looking to hire an Assistant Branch Manager for our fast-paced Kenton branch, supporting the Branch Manager in their day-to-day role.  Duties are varied and will include customer liaison, driving sales and reaching targets, operations and transport, stock management, banking and cash reconciliation, personnel management and HR related issues.

Kenton has a small, close-knit team and this role would suit someone who wants to get involved in every aspect of running the branch and who will take on challenges to achieve their goals.   The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Builders’ Merchants – you may be looking to take the next step in your career.

Hours:  7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements

 

  • Experience in a Builders Merchant
  • Strong sales ability and a portfolio of customers would be a big advantage
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members
  • Commitment to delivering and maintaining fantastic customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Eligible to work in the UK
