Altecnic 1" x 1/4" F x F Safety Relief Valve 6 Bar is used for pressure control on heat generators in heating systems, and on hot water storage units in hydraulic and domestic water systems. The valve is selected for the required set pressure. As the pressure rises, when the discharge pressure is reached, the valve opens and discharges into the atmosphere, preventing the pressure within the system reaching levels which would be dangerous for the boiler and the hot water storage cylinder.
