150mm x 150mm x 2.4m Oak Beam QP1 Grade is a high-quality green oak beam, freshly sawn from QP1 graded European oak. QP1 grade beams are ideal for structural oak framing, offering excellent consistency with minimal knots, no redwood, and no insect damage. They typically have three straight edges (often four), with only a small amount of wane permitted on one edge, ensuring a clean and reliable finish for construction projects.
Green oak beams are supplied fresh sawn, containing a high moisture content. Some natural discolouration, shrinkage, and movement is to be expected as the oak dries, adding character to traditional builds. Click & Collect is also available from selected branches. However, please be aware that stock levels can fluctuate, so we’ll confirm product availability and collection timing once your order is placed.
Delivery Charges
Orders over £150 ex VAT within our local delivery area qualify for free delivery. This excludes palletised or specialist products.
For orders under £150 ex VAT, standard delivery is £7.50 plus VAT. Certain products have specific delivery costs:
- Civil Engineering products: £20 + VAT.
- Roofing Tiles under £249.99 ex VAT: £60 + VAT.
Delivery charges and policies may vary at the discretion of our branches, and we reserve the right to amend them as required.
We offer a variety of delivery options to meet your needs nationwide, including pallet shipping (subject to size and weight restrictions), site delivery, and same-day or next-day delivery via TradeKart (available in selected postcodes).
