More Information
Brett Martin B5041 110mm Single Socket 87.5 Degree Bend is for use with 110mm/4" underground pipe and is used to create a 87.5 degree bend in a underground drainage system. Suitable for use when drainage pipework needs routing around a bend. It is most commonly used at the foot of a rainwater downpipe, where the downpipes join the drainage system. Most people refer to these bends as 90 degrees. The reason that they are actually 87.5 is to create a natural fall to ensure that materials flowing through the bend keep on moving. Underground (Terracotta) pipework is purpose built for the transportation of foul water and sewage in domestic and commercial properties to a sewage treatment system, septic tank or in the case of rainwater and treated effluent, to a soak away or watercourse.
