Brett Martin B5101 110mm Double Socket Equal Junction 110mm x 110mm x 87.5 Degrees is used to create a 87.5 degree junction in underground pipe. It allows for a wide variety of applications such as bends, junctions, rodding access, access fittings with inspection chambers and manhole bases. Most people refer to these bends as 90 degrees. The reason that they are actually 87.5 is to create a natural fall to ensure that materials flowing through the bend keep on moving. Underground (Terracotta) pipework is purpose built for the transportation of foul water and sewage in domestic and commercial properties to a sewage treatment system, septic tank or in the case of rainwater and treated effluent, to a soak away or watercourse.
