Traditional Hogs Back Ridge Marston Blend are a classic traditional finish to any ridge line, suitable for many angles to complement any roof. They are designed for the top of a tiled roof, running along the top and creating a protective yet very appealing line of durable clay across the peak of a roofs pitch. The main purpose of Hogs Back Ridge tiles is to provide a protective cover for the ridge on a roof, where two sloping roof sections meet, helping to channel water away from the ridge, preventing water penetration and potential damage to the underlying roof materials. Clay roof tiles are a popular choice as concrete alternatives tend to lose their colour over time, whereas the clay can look better with age, by developing a wonderful patina over a period of time.
