They are designed for the top of a tiled roof, running along the top and creating a protective yet very appealing line of durable clay across the peak of a roofs pitch. The main purpose of Hogs Back Ridge tiles is to provide a protective cover for the ridge on a roof, where two sloping roof sections meet, helping to channel water away from the ridge, preventing water penetration and potential damage to the underlying roof materials.
